Reef Zlements Macro Elements Sulphur is a high quality Sulphur supplement. Sulphur is a macro element which is present in all reefs around the world, most commonly in the form of Sulphate. Despite Sulphur being a macro element that typically gets replenished with water changes and the addition of foods or other supplements containing high levels of Sulphate, Sulphur can still get depleted in the tank. Given that Sulphur is highly linked to bacterial activity, the presence of Sulphur in much lower or higher concentrations from the normally found in the seawater can lead to bacterial issues.

Sulphate/Sulphur is not yet fully researched and ideal ranges are still to be determined, however we suggest Sulphur to be kept at 900mg/l + -5% (i.e. 865-945mg/l). 10 ml of Reef Zlements Sulphur increases the Sulphur concentration of 100 litres by ~3.5 mg/l.
